Squingle - Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is effective as of 2024-05-20

This privacy policy applies to the Squingle app (hereby referred to as "Application") that was created by Benjamin Outram Ltd. (“Squingle Studios”, “Our”, “We”, “Us”) which is a UK registered company. Squingle Studios value your privacy.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.


Information Collection and Use

The Application automatically collects anonymized analytics data for the purposes of improving the game, such as which levels were completed and how long puzzles took to complete. The Application does not gather precise information about your location.


Third Party Access

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data.

Unity Analytics are used to collect anonymized analytics data to help improve the Application. Unity’s privacy policy is available on their website:

If you are accessing the Application from the Meta platform, Meta may collect personal information from you according to their privacy policy, which is available on their website:

Squingle Studios have access to this data only in the form of aggregate sales and metrics. Squingle Studios does not retain user data once user’s remove their data from Meta’s platform. Where applicable, we adhere to those platform’s user-data policies.

Your username may appear on the publicly accessible Leaderboards for the Application.


Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device. If you would like to be removed from the leaderboards, you may request this at ben@squingle.com. To delete your data from Meta’s or Unity Analytics’ platform services, please refer to their respective privacy policies linked above.


Data Retention Policy

Squingle Studios will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at ben@squingle.com.


Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (ben@squingle.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Our Newsletter

If you signed up for Beta Tester program or signed up to our mailing list, we store your email address so we can send you information related to Squingle Studios only.  We do not sell your data to anyone else or use it for anything other than Squingle Studios related communications. You can unsubscribe at any time by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of the emails, and we will delete your data from our records.  Alternatively, you can contact ben[at]squingle.com and request your email to be unsubscribed at any time, and we will delete your data from our records.
